I gotta know is it entitled of me to think that if you're going to a dog park, and you know your dog has issues with resource guarding their toys like balls and frisbees, to maybe NOT bring the toys your dog resource guards to the dog park?

I always bring a ball to the park with me so I can distract my dog or get him running if no other dog wants to play with him. But if another dog takes his ball, he's not aggressive; he'll chase them and play keep-away; it initiates play. He's LEARNED that behavior initiates play. Today he tried to do the same thing with another dog's ball, and the dog tried to start a fight. He got confused because to him this is how he's learned to initiate play and he didn't understand why this dog wasn't acting in the way all the other dogs had

And it feels like my fault because I should train my dog to not play with toys that aren't his but also... he's a dog. Not a first-grader. I can't sit him down and say, "We don't take our friend's toys without asking first!" because he's a dog. Dogs don't work like that

But I feel very sure if I said this on TikTok the DogTokers would come for me and tell me I'm entitled and a bad dog owner for expecting other people to "manage my dog's behavior" but is it really so entitled to think that maybe, if you know your dog may get aggressive if other dogs try to play with their toys, to not bring their toys to areas with other dogs????

Not in a negative way, but do you think Makarov ever asked Nolan why he wants to restore Russia to greatness when he ain't even Russian.

I've been thinking about that ever since I found out who Nolan was, and I still can't quite figure it out.

I think it's entirely personal at this point, and the biggest proof of that would be his WZ monologue. I know I bring it up often but it's helpful in understanding him. His speech is ENTIRELY about Makarov. At first it's like, yeah he's an idealistic man and he wants to change the history, he sees great potential in Makarov as a leader and wants to help his cause, but I think it becomes personal after that "He wants to see the world aflame? Good. It deserves it. Hand me the match." line. It's about what Makarov wants, it's almost like worship. He's obsessed with Makarov.

(The part about his past doesn't explain enough. "idolized great men of history" like what the fuck does that mean? For all I know he could be a fan of Hitler or some shit. So vague. That's why I choose to think he's been led into this by someone else. It's easy to manipulate young people by promising them glory, make them think they're fighting for something greater. And it seems to have worked doesn't it? Joining the ADF at the age of 17 because he wanted to take part in making history)

Like, what motivates someone so strongly to follow one person so blindly. There's nothing in it for him. Nothing! No personal gain whatsoever. And yet he's still there fighting beside Makarov, following his every order, so hell-bent on burning down the world... AND FOR WHAT???!!

As for Makarov, y'know it'd actually be a very interesting conversation if he ever asked Nolan "Why are you doing this?" I'm very curious what he'd say lol. I think Makarov, whatever reason Nolan has to be there, would take full advantage of him. You don't get men like Nolan often, so what if he's a little bit too obsessed, y'know? Makarov can keep him at his side with the barest of scraps and he'd still follow.

Lastly, I don't think Nolan's the most mentally sane person out there. "Blind faith in Makarov". An unhealthy amount of devotion and "hero" worship. I don't get him!!!!

I apologize if this doesn't make sense, kinda got carried away there, but I truly don't understand Nolan. It makes sense for me to believe he's in this entirely for Makarov, because it's the only explanation that cuts it.

If I overread a paragraph explaining that Integrity, as the younger brother, is going to rule the Six Duchies and the Mountain Kingdom somebody please tell me. Or will Integrity only rule the Mountain Kingdom while his older brother Prosper reigns over the Six Duchies?
