I gotta know is it entitled of me to think that if you're going to a dog park, and you know your dog has issues with resource guarding their toys like balls and frisbees, to maybe NOT bring the toys your dog resource guards to the dog park?

I always bring a ball to the park with me so I can distract my dog or get him running if no other dog wants to play with him. But if another dog takes his ball, he's not aggressive; he'll chase them and play keep-away; it initiates play. He's LEARNED that behavior initiates play. Today he tried to do the same thing with another dog's ball, and the dog tried to start a fight. He got confused because to him this is how he's learned to initiate play and he didn't understand why this dog wasn't acting in the way all the other dogs had

And it feels like my fault because I should train my dog to not play with toys that aren't his but also... he's a dog. Not a first-grader. I can't sit him down and say, "We don't take our friend's toys without asking first!" because he's a dog. Dogs don't work like that

But I feel very sure if I said this on TikTok the DogTokers would come for me and tell me I'm entitled and a bad dog owner for expecting other people to "manage my dog's behavior" but is it really so entitled to think that maybe, if you know your dog may get aggressive if other dogs try to play with their toys, to not bring their toys to areas with other dogs????

I just had the oddest experience today. So during one of the breaks between lectures me and my friend are talking about indie animations, and how I felt that Hazbin would have been more appealing to me if there were more horror like elements, then comes in some guy who is in our class but I don’t even know the name of, just randomly popping in and going on a tangent about how Hazbin was amazing before they made it “woke”.

Now this is single handedly one of the weirdest and most out of place statements that was ever made to me. So understandable (since he interrupted us) I asked him to explain. Insert this adult man going on a incoherent, bizarre tangent about how Angel was a woman, Vaggie and Charlie were supposed to be just friend, Lucifer was a true villain and evil, Alastor was the main character, and a series of other bizarre stuff. Claiming that all of this was in the og pilot and acting like I hadn’t seen it and knew nothing of what it was supposed to be. I then proceeded to ask him what “woke” even meant, and for some odd reason he started talking about black myth wukong and other stuff irrelevant to the question I asked. Then I asked him what he thought of helluva boss because I was sick about him sounding like that dude that made a list of “woke video games not to play” and his response floored me.

“Yeah I like it, but I’m not gay or anything, I do think it would have been better if Stolas was a woman, because he looks like one.”

Simply, I have never been more flabbergasted in my life.
